Kids horse camp
At the Dream Ranch, we have a beautiful herd of horses and a mule. Come to Idaho and connect with the horses and us while learning essential horsemanship, horse training, and horse riding skills from Dr. Heather Mack and her team of horsemen.
Programs are tailored to participants and we we teach connection and subtle communication with horses in a safe and fun environment. Daily programming will include lots of outdoor horse time and can range from learning groundwork communication with the horses to learning about tack and care to riding in the mountains on the beautiful trails that surround the property.
Fun
This is the perfect environment to introduce horsemanship to your child or children. With sound, safe, and experienced horses, kids can learn to love playing with horses.
creativity
We offer tons of fun activities! From learning horsemanship skills such as grooming, tacking up, and leading horses to simply painting ponies in the sun, we offer it all in a supportive environment.
Learning
Children can learn safe horsemanship skills early in their life so that they can connect with the horses at the ranch and back home with ease. We can teach everything from groundwork to lunging to riding depending on skill level and interest.
Our program
“The Dream Ranch is one of those very rare places where you can completely disconnect from all the problems of the world, completely unplug and escape into the most beautiful piece of nature replete with hot springs, rivers, mountains and horses. The Dream Ranch was an absolute gift for us. As parents with young children, we loved sitting by the river in solitude while our kids got the opportunity to receive private lessons learning about, caring for, and riding horses. Our entire family loved this time away and we all found it complete grounding, fun, fulfilling and relaxing. I would highly recommend it.” - Liesl P., Sun Valley, Idaho
